I was really happy with this 4th book in the series overall. The mystery was well done. Our main character just picked a lot of apples, we didnt learn a lot about apples or farming in this book. This book was more about the mystery. I wonder what will happen next?

This is my favorite book of the series (so far). While solving the mystery really didn't seem to pick up until the second half, the first half was very good. I loved how we saw Meg mature in her relationship with her mother.

I enjoyed this entry in the series. The famous poet Emily Dickenson lived in a nearby town two hundred years ago (give or take a few decades), and she plays a big part in the mystery. It is refreshing to have a modern mystery where the villain is not an evil real estate developer, banker, or other big business mogul, as is so often the case. I like a little variety now and again!

The developing relationships with Meg's mother and father as well as increasingly more involved boyfriend Seth are interesting.

I look forward to more books in this series.
