Very good story, mystery excellent. Great characters and developing stories for the people at the Lambspun Shop. Waiting for the next one. Romance is in the wind for sure with this series, but mysteries continue. Kelly, Carl and crew, great fun.

I am really enjoying this series. I can usually figure out the killer but the author keeps us guessing in this series. Maybe it is not a serious who dunnit it but I like a light read while I am enjoying my lunchtime away from the madness of work. My mother and sister enjoyed this too.

A delightful knitting cozy, full of cups of great coffee, a smigden of romance, a great knitting pattern, and a recipe for a killer fudge! And, it's a pretty good mystery, too!

A good fourth book in the Knitting Mystery series. I enjoy how Kelly and her friends lives are coming together in this light cozy mystery series. It was nice to see more of Kelly and Steve's relationship developing. Also, the book contains an easy to follow knitting pattern for a cable-knit scarf and a recipe for chocolate mint fudge at the end.

Great easy read stories with personality and the image of that yarn shop we would all like to be around the corner from.

Started reading this series because I'm a knitter, but, found I really like her style. A quick read, that keeps you interested until the end. You begin to believe you know the characters. The best so far, you won't figure it out!

I picked up this book to read in the airplane. The only reason I finished the book was that is all that I had to read. I felt like I was reading a book that was written by someone who just took a course in psychology - by this I thought the author explained too many details that just didn't need to be explained. I just read the first sentence of the last pages, just to finish it. Sorry but I think there are so many better written stories out there.

Love Maggies books. Great with knitting incorporated. Wish they had a yarn shop like that around here. . .

When an alpaca sheep rancher with a reputation as a playboy turns up dead in Bellevue Canyon, knitter and occasional sleuth Kelly Flynn launches a personal investigation into the murder and discovers that, among the ladies of Fort Connor, there are many suspects who may have had a motive for killing the victim.

Kelly has her hands full once again. Getting a scarf knitted for a Christmas gift, she & Steve get involved in a tennis tournament, Christmas party, and she is still trying to buy the Alpaca Ranch. Which is a another interesting story line in itself.

Sefton fills her books with friendly characters and a fine depiction of the Colorado ranching community. This is another good addition to Seftons knitting series. This series is always enjoyable.

An ok book book. I got the whole series from the library without knowing anything about the author. So, I'm reading them all anyway due to lack of other reading material. This book wouldn't be my first (or second, or third) choice in reading material.

If I were Lucy in this book, I'd have RUN from these women! They really didn't sound like they were trying to help her. To me, it sounded like they didn't know how to respect someone's personal space and private thoughts. I mean, if I had women I only recently met hounding me about going to the doctor, it would be the last time those women saw me. I just found Lucy's acceptance of their interference very unbelievable.

Also, I do not like the self deprecating comments of Kelly - the main character. I don't think such comments bode well for a healthy self esteem.

Otherwise, the book did keep me reading. So, I give it 3 stars just for that alone.
