Very fast read. Pretty compelling, though I found some of the relationships a little hard to believe. (May help if you've read some of her other books....I haven't.) I mean, really....where do I find a couple men like Logan and Quinn to fawn all over me??? :) Guess that's why it's called FICTION.

I really enjoy Iris Johansen's books. I like the way she entertwines familiar characters throughout all of her books. This is definitely one of her best. I like Eve Duncan. She's a very strong and intelligent female character.

This is a very good, on the edge of your seat, book. The ending just blew me away. It's one of the best mysteries I've ever read. It's about a forensic sculptor who looks for her murdered daughter, who's body has never been found, in every child that is found murdered. When a child's skeleton is found, she's hoping it is her missing daughter.

Just enough off of the beaten path to stir up an interest and to hold the readers attention to the details. the story line allowed a high level of expectation that is well fulfilled. The connecting and flow of the characters is smooth and held my interest well. You get to feel the panics and disappointments as well getting to be involved in the horror of the real loss senselessly inflicted into so many of these lives. I really enjoyed the twists and turns, as well as the warm passions and the few hot ones as well. This is a worthwhile read with a good balance but off-beat just enough to keep the interest and tuned up. It is worth the credit and your time.

I just love this author, she kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I had the book open. I could really put myself into the plot.
Book about Eve Duncan, forensic Sculptor. She lost her daughter to a killer years ago, and so feels compelled to work on the skulls of young girls found in Georgia. I liked this book, though not as well as the first one, but it was still pretty good. There are elements of romance, suspense and the supernatural.

this is the first iris johansen book i've read. i really enjoyed it, and it had a nice twist at the end. the pace was really good and the story drew me in nicely.
This book is the next in a series of Eve Duncan thrillers. I enjoy books with recurring characters because you grow with them. This was a great read as well!
Eve Duncan, one of the worlds top forensic sculptors, is taken on a cat and mouse, mind game with a dangerous serial killer who wants to add Eve to his deadly list. There was always something interesting happening in the book....I couldn't put it down!

I like Iris Johansen's writing. Since the characters show up from previous books, it is probably best to start with the beginning book in the series. This is not the first in the series. I really feel for the lead character in her book.

I liked this second book better than the first because Eve Duncan is starting to grow on me. In the first book, I loved the plot but felt like the heroine was such a stubborn pain in the butt. In this book, she grows close to Joe and seems to become better (healthier?) as a person. And the plot was great.
This was a good book,but I got confused at one point toward the end. It was an overall good read.
Wow, what a great read. You can not figure it out until the end & it is shocking. Really interesting, kept me up late at night, trying to get to the end to see who did it. Must read.
As a fan of mystery/thriller/suspense books, I was plesantly surprised at the end, as to "who did it." This books pulls you into the Eve Duncan's life from page 1.

A story that has you reading non stop from front to back. Characters are well developed, and it feels as if you know them. You feel every emotion that a human being could feel, and are disappointed when it has ended. Absolutely compelling.

Her main character, as usual, is a woman that other women can relate to. Well written and suspensful.

This was my first Iris Johanson book. It was a good mystery that kept you guessing until the last chapter. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
