This installment in the series disappointed. This was in large part because it felt the subplotsthe real reason we read these bookswent nowhere. Not The Killing Type is not as terrible as the third book (Bookplate Special) with the Pammy Fredericks debacle, but it definitely was nowhere near as captivating and Book 6 (Murder on the Half Shelf), the completion of which made me desperate to read book 7. This 7th book (Not The Killing Type) was simply slow, neurotic, and very very very mediocre. Upon completing book 7, I hadand still haveno interest in reading the next one.
