I really wanted to like THE KING OF PLAGUES. I had enjoyed PATIENT ZERO and THE DRAGON FACTORY, but though they suffered from a slow pace I managed to stick with them and enjoyed them for the blasts of action and the heady conspiracies.
THE KING OF PLAGUES, however, suffers from a GLACIAL pace that ultimately killed it for me. Worse than the others in that pages and pages of nothing happening finally drove me to put the book down in disgust. Maberry's fatal flaw shines through too brightly this time.

Another Great Book in this series! Recommend!!

I loved this one! Not quite as good as the first book, but close! I loved that there was an appearance by one of my favorite real life people:) Some of the sharp wit, a few new characters (I love Ghost!) and the usual intense situations. I am loving this series!
