This summary of the history of the Jews of Israel and Judah jumped around. I found it difficult to understand because the author wasn't clear. The author spent a lot of time trying to coordinate the Bible with written records, turning it into a mishmash of confusing facts and ideas.
The story starts before Israel's unification and continues until Judah's end. One of the things I learned was that the ten tribes became Israel, while the two tribes (Benjamin and Judah). These two smaller tribes broke away from Israel because of the high taxes and formed Judah.
Mostly, this could have been better-written and interesting.
