Savannah GA - a city known for deep Southern charm and history. What is left unsaid is the seedier side of the city: the homeless population, greed and "good ole boy" system that has existed forever. When a homeless man dies in a fire in an abandoned house and a homeless "archeologist" goes missing, a young female bartender starts asking questions and she and her family are caught up in a bizarre and wicked web of lies, deceit, greed and intrigue. I admit I almost gave up on this book at first due to language, but it is well worth the read.
