This is a delightful story by one of those authors that you just don't seem to hear enough of, yet I hope to see more from! Reading this book was a little bit like enjoying an Indiana Jones or Lara Croft movie while at the same time having some resemblances to "The Da Vinci Code". It's an enjoyable, fast-paced read that keeps you turning the pages so that you may find out what happens next while still being able to throw some surprises and fun humor at you. In addition to a wonderful story, there are also images in this book that represent the clues the characters find, which to me is just another thing to make the story great. Since it is part of a series, I highly recommend reading the first book "The Queen Jade" first.
