i really tried to get into this book, but about halfway through i stopped reading it. it was very slow and boring. I was dissapointed because I usually like Carly Phillips books. Not even the sex scenes was that great, but I did read only one. But as they say to each there own.

Loved this book. What a great story! I couldn't put it down. Loved the characters and story!!! HIGHLY recommend!
This is a really cute, quirky book which I would have really enjoyed if it did not include raw, raucny, totally unnecessary sex scenes.
Good Book

Sam Cooper is a crime beat reporter and would-be writer. After he foils a robbery he is rewarded with a ring from the jewelery story where the hold-up occured. Soon his picture is on the front page of his paper and he has been labled "most eligible" which he doesn't appreciate.
Lexie Davis sees the story and is interested because the ring looks just like a pendant that her dear grandmother always wears. So, she seeks out Sam trying to find out the history of the two pieces of jewelry. Its a cute story, a fast read and I really do enjoy reading Carly Phillips. I would recommend it.

I like all of Carly Phillips' books and this one was just as good as the rest.
