This was one of the silliest things I have ever read. To be fair, I don't believe in psychics, and only read the book because I love the show Medium. I suppose I was looking for specific information to back up her claims of being a psychic crime-solver. I shouldn't have been surprised not to find any. A lot of her "psychic" ability sounds a lot like plain old intuition and luck, and her chapter on telling the difference between a psychic child and a mentally ill one....well, I won't spoil the funny parts.

I got to page 59 and just stopped reading.
I decided I love the TV show Medium but this
book isn't what I had hoped.
Many may find it spiritual and interesting,
I found I need the inter-action between the TV
characters to enjoy her gift.

I wanted more detail about her predictions, rather than other details of her life. I love the TV show.

A very good book about the abilities of Allison Dubois. She can see the dead and give messages to love ones. She speaks of her spirit guides whom direct her to through her passage of life. Her guides have actually saved her life twice and helped her through the death of loved ones. She has helped police find missing people as well. I enjoyed the book and passed it on to my mom and my sister, whom is also a medium of a different type.

Really not what I thought it would be. I wanted more about her powers and how she has dealt with them. It does have those stories but just not enough of them in my opinion.

I loved this book. It helped me to understand my own gifts and experiences I have had. I love to read about others experiences with their gifts. It's interesting to see how the are similar and how they differ from my own experiences.

So I bought the book and read it. It's brief and to the point; most autobiographical and overall as unconceited, without false modesty though, as is possible in a biography. I think I actually LIKE Allison Dubois as a person, and I think she may be truly intelligent, unusually gifted and, above all, genuine. All of which would make her into a most remarkable human being. My rating of three instead of a higher one, is because the author recorded the book herself and I have found professional readers do a much better job than most authors.

Very soothing and inspirational. Allison DuBois takes us into a piece of her world by sharing her experiences and various readings she has performed.
