A Dark-Hunter novel. The story of Wulf Tryggvasen. No one remembers Wulf 5 minutes after he has left their presence, except for those of his bloodline, other Dark-Hunters, gods and demi-gods....until he rescues Cassandra Peters. Half human and half Appolite, Cassandra is being hunted by the son of Apollo who believes her death will free the curse which banishes all Daimons to the darkness. Of course her death will also mean the destruction of the sun, the earth and all who live there. Now it's Wulf's job to protect a woman of the race he has been hunting all his life.

I am in awe of Kenyon's imagination. Her Dark-Hunter series is well-written, and she has an exceptional talent for tying the books together in new and different ways. You fall in love with her heroes as they learn to love and be loved.

The characters in this book are very interesting, very likeable, and very funny. Wulf is my favorite "Dark Hunter", at least so far, and I was delighted with the character of Cassandra. Chris, the only one who can remember Wulf for more than five minutes, beside the other Dark Hunters, before Cassandra come into Wulf's live is so sarcastically funny, and provides much comic relief during the darker story times.
While I have enjoyed reading the previous Dark Hunter books by Kenyon, this one has made me a real fan!

Supernatural Romance. Wulf is an immortal Viking Dark Hunter with a problem. No mortal can remember him five minutes after he leaves their presence. Cassandra is from the race that Wulf kills, but now he must protect her. And he wants to.
Kenyon has created a very complicated mythology as the basis of her Dark Hunter books and I found it confusing. Maybe those who have read more books understand it, but for me it got in the way of the story. Still this book has a lot of action and strong passions, and things really keep moving.

Good background information. Each book seems to add a little more.

This book was fantastic and kept with the story line. Wulf and Cassandra are truly love-story material. This book kept me on my seat and I couldn't put it down until I was done. Each book in the series provides bits and pieces of the overall Archeron saga and want you to keep reading the series to find out more. I definitely can't wait to read the next books.

Great installment in the series! I especially liked learning more about Appolites and Daimons in this one.
Excellent!
An intriguing series...Dark-Hunter novels. Great read.
This one wasn't too bad. I like the main characters, there was some drama, and some threatening tears and such, met some new characters as well. It was good and funny as well.
This is teh Story of Wulf, the viking warrior that no one can seem to remember once he leaves their presence. And it is teh story of Cassandra, a 26-year-old who only has 8 months to live but holds the fate of the world in her hands.
I have read all of these and they just get better and better
A great book. But I love all of SK's dark hunter books.
This one will keep you up nights just to finish. Great story.
Another excellent book by Sherrilyn Kenyon. This series is phenomenal and I cant wait to read them all!!!!!
A definitely darkly romantic story but well worth reading!
Great book, loved the ending!
This is the fifth installment in the Dark-Hunter series. It is neither the worst nor the best. It follows the story of Wulf, a Dark-Hunter sworn to protect the human world from soul-sucking Daimons. Wulf has a curse upon him, that no human not of his bloodline can remember him. This fact apparently makes him feel quite lonely. Then he meets Cassandra, and discovers that she can remember him. Their attraction to one another is complicated by the fact that their species are natural enemies, and that forces beyond their control have been working to push them together against their will.
This book was very enjoyable at some parts, boring at others. Just when I thought I was ready to give up on it, something would grab my attention and make me laugh or cry. I can't say either main character was all that remarkable. Cassandra was honestly quite two-dimensional. Wulf was a bit more developed but unfortunately still predictable. Overall, I think if you're a fan of the Dark-Hunter series you'll enjoy this book.

I, unlike everyone else, just couldn't get "into" this particular book until I was more than half way through it! It just didn't catch me the way the others have! It was great learning more about the Daimons and Appolites and in the end Wulf's story was great, but for me it was very slow going!
Another great book by a wonderful author. Sherrilyn Kenyon can write.
She is one of my favorite writers.. Her books grab you from the first chapter and keep you reading till the end. Have read all the Dark-hunter books. Some of twice..A great read all of them.Great story line that follows up in all the books..IT is a keeper..
I always love Sherrilyn Kenyon's books! No they aren't literary works of art or anything, no one will be comparing them to Gatsby or Wuthering Heights in a few years, is that why I would read them anyway...no! I read them because I love supernatural and I am a sucker for a feel good romance, sizzling sex, the star crossed lovers, the action and thinking how are they going to work this out. I'm not planning on writing an essay on what the author was trying to symbolize by the apollite race or anything, I left that behind years ago. I've read the classics and highly recommend everyone does but, when I'm laying on the beach watching my kids build sandcastles (and the occasional cuting walking by) that's not what I'm into, when it's cold and the snow is flying around outside my house that's not what I pick up to warm up, it's Sherrilyn Kenyon and her Darkhunters if I have one available and I usually do. This one is no exception, it did provide me with quite a surprise however! As a side note I don't read them in order and so far I don't think it has affected the story lines for me at all.
This is one of my favorite Dark-Hunter books yet (even though I think they are all my favorite book). Wulf and Cassandra's story was so touching I could not put the book down. If you are reading the series, it is okay to read this one out of order...but you cannot miss this story!
Loved the beginning of the book. Couldn't wait to get into it more but it fell flat for me. I think the two got to far involved to fast. I also felt it was very disconnected from the rest of the dark-hunter series. Defiantly not my favorite.
Yet another addicting read.. can't wait to get the next book in the series.
Another amazing book in the series!!
Sherrilyn Kenyon is one wonderful writer!!!!!
Anything by her is fabulous!
This is Book 5 of the "Dark-Hunter" series. It tells the story of Wulf, an ancient Viking and Dark-Hunter, who is assigned by Ash to protect an Apollite princess, Cassandra. It seems Cassie is the last of her royal bloodline and must breed before she turns 27 or the world will end. Of course the nasty god Stryker is involved to make things difficult. Lots going on in this novel, and I don't want to post any spoilers.
I can say I love how each novel in this series gives us another clue about Ash's awesome powers and his relationship with Simi. I just adore Ash and think he is probably my very fav of the Dark-Hunters. It was also nice to learn more about Stryker's son Urian in this novel. Once again, this is a touching love story with a fabulous ending, and I enjoyed every page of it!

I finally got to read one of the Dark Hunters books I've heard so much about. I still prefer Feehan's Carpathians.
Loved this book. Once again Kenyon makes us laugh when these big strong powerful good looking intimating characters of hers interact with each other like little kids fighting over a beloved toy. Worth the read.

This is my favorite Dark Hunter novel so far! I LOVED this story. Great Read!!!!
Kenyon's latest vampire romance in her scintillating Dark-Hunter series tells the tale of Wulf, an immortal Viking warrior with the power to make everyone forget him, and Cassandra, the only woman who can't get him off her mind
Siiiigh, another wonderful Dark Hunter novel...just can't put em down. i would love to keep em all, but they are too good and must be shared. I'm sure the next lucky person will enjoy the story of Wulf and Cassandra!
Another GREAT Dark-Hunter book!!
Great book!! Loved it!!
Good story. I didn't like it quite as much as the others because Wulf wasn't a character that had really been developed in the other books.
Good Dark Hunter book not set in New Orleans - I like the fact that it brings in characters from previous books and of course it has the usual humor of a Kenyon Dark Hunter Book.
This was a fantastic book with very enjoyable characters. Another keeper!
Excellent! It started out simple enough. One night I went to save a woman in trouble. The next thing I knew, the doorway to hell had opened and out stepped Daimons-vampires the likes of which I'd never seen before.
Viking Dark Hunter named Wulf is in desperate need for his Squire/ many great nephew Chris 'laid' or hooked up and married to carry on the bloodlines of his brother that died in the Viking era also is the only people aside from certain were hunter, dark hunters and Apolites can remember him. He was curse when a female D.H. swapped souls or jobs. Wulf never sold his soul or has never died. He is one of a few that got to keep is soul when it was time for vengeance.
Cassandra is a rear half human half Apolite,, he only has 8 months to live and she intends to live it the fullest she can. She never expected to find a man that get her her to notice or think about family. After a run in at a club Cassandra finds her self a man that does catch her attention. Anyways I will make short. Cassandra gets pregnant with Wulfs child but here is the weird part they only did the deed in their dreams. But she life and now her unborn child lives are in danger by Apollomi and her son Styrker. Cassandra is the last blood related descendant of Apollo and their life forces are connected. is Cass dies so does Apollo and then the world world die in the process. Wulf, Chris, Cass and her bodyguard Katria (Ash's / Artemis daughter) are on adventure that is to help her stay alive to have her son and insure the world wont die but Wulf is on a quest to find away for Cass to live past her 27th birthday. In the final battle Julian, Kyrian, Zedrek(?), Ash and the love able Simi (morphed into a baby) are to help save the world. Very action packed and loads of LOL moments. Easily 5 stars

This book was so much fun to read!
as always, nummy
great book
This is another good read in the series. I learned more about Daimons and Apollilites than I knew before. I felt such sorrow for both of them.
Great read, vampire novel.. Good series -Dark Hunters.
Amazon review: Wulf Tryggvason is sexy, dangerous and well over six feet tall. He also has a chip on his shoulder because no one, except his blood relatives and fellow Dark-Hunters, can remember him after he leaves a room due to an ancient curse. Then he meets 26-year-old Cassandra Peters, the one woman who can remember him. Unfortunately, she comes with a "short expiration date." Not only is she destined to die on her 27th birthday, but she holds the fate of the world in her hands. The last of her bloodline, Cassandra must have a child before her birthday or the world will descend into darkness. Even those who buy into this premise will find the tidy denouement hard to swallow, but Kenyon is a master at creating spunky characterizations and cinematic action scenes spiced with wry humor. Though she has a tendency to overwrite, especially when it comes to loves scenes ("She moaned at the rich sensation of having all of his lush power lying over her"), this book is an entertaining thrill ride.
Hot! Wulf's story.
You can't go wrong with Sherrilyn Kenyon! Kiss of the night tells Wulf's story. One of my favorites by far!
Good I liked it. I think I like her contemporary better though.
Liked this one.
A nice bit of fluff and it's a nice journey to get to the one on Ash.
I think this was one of the best I have read in the series so far.
another great book by sherrilyn kenyon, i love all her dark hunter books
For me, this was not as good as the first 3, I hope the next one is better!
