I really enjoy this series and especially McNeil's sense of humor. She is clever and witty. The characters are so real and her portrayal of the children is hilarious. It's just about everyday stuff but the telling is very funny. Like any series, there must be some retelling and catching folks up who have not read the previous novels. Hope she continues the series.

A lovely read. Had a bit of trouble keeping track of all the characters, but enjoyed the book overall and thoroughly liked the main character. A light, easy beach book.
