This is a terrific little book to tuck into my knitting bag and take with me when I go out and bring knitting. It has lots of humor and insight and food for thought. Some of the humor was funny enough that I could share it with my Husband. I'm keeping this around for a while.

An at times laugh-out-loud funny collection of wit about the obsession of knitting. Unlike the author, I am not an obsessive knitter; there are many things I would rather do. But although I don't see myself in her reflections, I am none the less amused by this little book. In fact, its size and the brevity of the pieces it contains, makes it a perfect book to toss in your bag and pull out and read a few snippets when waiting - either in a waiting room or even in the checkout line at the supermarket. HIghly recommended!

Very funny.
If you're looking for a copy of this, you already know that Stephanie Pearl-McPhee is a very funny writer. I was heartily entertained--I just don't need to keep it forever!

The book is filled with funny meditations (and sometimes they hit rather close to home). A great little book to browse through, rather than read all at once. I'll be keeping this one in my knitting bag for a long time.
Funny, and so true!
Cute. This is a small book (about4x6") - makes a nice little gift for a knitter.
The contents is cutesy/funny-to-moderately-substantial, lots of quotes and interesting tidbits.
