Are you someone who gets tired of knitting the same old things (i.e. socks, sweaters, and boring traditional toys)? If so, this book is the answer to your prayers. I bought this book on a whim because I really loved the cover. Lo and behold what a joy! The patterns are weird and wonderful and colorful! Owls, conjoined twins, stripey cats, magic mushrooms, and pink poodles--not your average knitting menagerie. The patterns go from easy to more challenging and provide concise instructions. There is an excellent 'how-to' section that provides easy to follow pictures for harder stitches. I've completed quite a few of the projects & can't wait to make more. I love this book & really hope to see more odd creations from this author!
I did find a couple typos that you should be aware of, but are no big deal.
*For Olive Owl, Wing Piece One is supposed to read: Row 3: K1, M1R, K5, M1L, K1 (9 sts)
*For Ginge Marmalade: the Rows are misnumbered starting after Row 31
