I am a big Xanth fan and have read all of them up to this one. I found it very entertaining and full of puns that had me guessing some times to figure out. It was fun to read about this adventure with characters that I had already met in previous books and to discover some new one. My only complaint about this book is that there is a lot of adult content that I don't think needed to be in it since it did not add to the story line. I would not let a minor child read this book because of the adult content and because it give them the wrong impression of adult relationships.
