The book De Kolonie appeared as a serial story in The Banner in 1973-47. She is planning now to write a series for The Banner on the Christian Reformed Church's pioneer work among the Indians of Arizona and New Mexico, which will appear in the fall of 1975. Marian Schoolland has lived along the Thornapple River near Cascade, Michigan, for the past 25 years, where she carries on her nature studies. She also spent 5 yrars in a cabin on Grand Traverse Bay, Michigan. Before devoting her life to writing, she taught at Calvin College for 5 years, and earlier in the Christian elementary schools of Grand Rapids.« less
