It's a cute story. About a hotel takeover guy looking to buy another hotel chain. Meets the 'president' of the company by chance and is taken by him. The characters themselves were immature. And since it's Yaoi we know where this is going. Well I really do wish the uke would stop looking like a 13-year-old. I don't mind cute, I just don't like childlike. I gave up reading romance novels because the girls usually were just to stupid to believe, so I don't like stupid characters. Innocent is different from stupid. It was a nice read for an hour but I'll go onto something a little more substantial. There are plenty of people who will enjoy this, so take a chance and try it.
I have to agree with the other reviewer: It's annoying when the uke is so dumb you wonder how he remembers to tie his shoes, and acts like a naive 12 yr old- when supposedly he's smart enough to get into college. (Which is not easy in Japan.) There IS a difference between innocence and idiocy - and the author doesn't seem to grasp that.
The art is good, but the story is long, and a bit much to stomach. If you like the 'romance' angle, great, it takes a while to build. I don't care for that, personally, but I can't fault the book for that.
