I loved this book, although it was a little hard to sort out all the different characters thrown at me in the first chapter. It took a little bit to sort them out and relate to them. I like the fact that these are mature women relating to each other, not just twenty somethings. It makes for a refreshing change.
Four women who have lost their husbands open the Ladies Farm, a charming inn and day spa set beside a lazy river in quiet, peaceful Sydonia, Texas. The proud proprietors are Pauline, guiding light of the group, writer-in residence Della, no nonsense business manager Kat, and Ritam, a sassy beutician specializing in Texas big hair. Things are going great until big-bottomed, spoiled-silly Barbara Morrison, zooms up in her red T-bird - bringing trouble along for the ride.
Loved this book - will make you laugh, cry, think and feel!!!
