Really enjoyed reading this series of books. A romantic tour of America with a different story about each of the 50 states.

It was part of a Trilogy by Dailey...(Sonora Sundown, Fiesta San Antonio)..Travis McCrealoved the heroine from Fiesta San Antonio, but she loved someone else, and so he left his job as the foreman to make a start on his own ranch. Rainey was the 'villian' in Sonora Sundowm, and eventually ended up on Travis's ranch having to work her way back to California, after she was fired and penniless...
She leaves the glamorous world of show business and tends to the cooking, cleaning and laundry on the ranch to earn her way home..
Eventually she fall in love with Travis, but he still loves someone else, and thinks she's selfish and self centered...How they go from one extreme to really finding the love of thier lives is a most enjoyable journey...

"Are you admiring the view?" he asked. "Yes," LaRaine agreed without turning. She didn't want Travis McCrea to see the brightness of the unshed tears in her eyes.

"It's a vast, beautiful..." The lie stuck in her throat. She coulnd't find anything beautiful about this desolate country. "...Nothing," she finished with cold blatant truthfulness.

"You could be right." Travis considered her reply. LaRaine felt his gaze on her. Heart rushed through her body as she realized he was applying the description to her instead of the land-abeautiful nothing?
