Wonderful continuation of Mildred Taylor's epic tale of the Logan family. Excellent book for all ages.
I read The Land to my sons and WE loved it. It is a great story and a great way to learn about this time in history. It is based on Mildred Taylor's family history that was pased down verbally in her family. The story is continued in her books Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry and Let The Circle Be Unbroken. You will fall in love with the characters in these books!
