This was such a good book. In fact it was magical. I had a hard time putting it down, and read it rather quickly. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to read a feel-good book.

I have to agree with MaryAnn...I got this book thinking it was about small town life. It is indeed magical, also inspirational and full of hope.
This is book one of a trilogy, so I'm praying the other books can possibly be as good as this one.
While totally different than "The Help," this book comes in second only to that in my reading in recent years.

Like the first review said, it was a thought-provoking read. I must say though I was thinking that the plot would be a bit thicker-more enticing. There were a couple edge of the seat moments but overall it was pretty flat. Decent read overall.
I loved the characters, but the philosophizing I got bored with. A good book for a Christian read.
