This is a collection published after Gould's death. If you are a Gould fan, pick this one up; you won't regret it. Stephen Jay Gould's grandfather landed in NYC on September 11, 1901. Steve was very proud of his heritage and his grandfather's inspiration was the source for his writings. On September 11, 2001, Stephen set up to fly in from Europe to NYC, to mark a memorious occasion. Turned into another kind. Get the book for this chapter alone. The rest is graduate school material, and he goes into detail on explaining evolution and his famous bush theory.
