Definitely a historical fiction about a young Roman whose life is entwined in the true history of Britain, when the Romans left the island nation to defend Rome, while the Britains were left to defend themselves from the Saxon Hordes. It also relates, to readers, what historians believe could have been the true story of King Arthur (who may not have been a true king).
A very dynamic read. Though it may prove daunting to younger readers, I would recommend this story to all readers aged 13 and up -- vavoice
