This is a wonderful book about 2nd chances at life by a God who loves to give us more than we expect. A middle-aged divorced mother of a 14 yr. old is given a 2nd chance to make something of her life. Her 14 yr. old is given a 2nd chance at establishing a relationship with his father outside of the broken marriage. An old man is given a 2nd chance at life through his 5 yr. old grandchild. The book also shows that love isn't about how well you can or cannot physically provide but what lengths you'll go to show the loved one your love. Which brings us to a 5 yr. old who gets a 2nd chance at life with a Grandpa who loves her more than anyone else ever has. This is an other wonderful Wingate book.
great story line, perfect mix of drama and romance
Lisa Wingate is a favorite author. Her stories always touch my heart. Mother and son relocate after a painful divorce back to a place where she grew up and had a lot of memories. Family relationships are a big part of this story,as they are in all her books.
So good! Not sure why I waited so long to read this! Highly recommended!!
