A young woman wakes up in a hospital after being struck by a car to find that she has lost her memory -- and with it, her identity. When the police recover her handbag, it is empty except for three keys. Finally she is identified as Sandra Larrabee, widow, mother of twins girls, and heiress to a vast fortune. But nothing at the Larrabee mansion stirs her lost memory, not even her daughters. The keys fit no doors there, and the masculine face that appears in her dreams is not that of her late husband.
