A beautiful, sensitive love story set in post-Civil War Montana. Libby comes to Montana territory in answer to an ad for a bride, but both she and Jacob have their secrets and a lot of emotional baggage to work out. The developing relationship between them is lovely and poignant. Highly recommended.

Good until I got halfway through then, they had sex-which I didn't expect because everthing else I have read by this author was christian based. If your looking for an emotional gripping book, this is the one for you.

Last chance at love... The lonely bearer of a shameful secret, Libby Hodges needed to make a new stert-in Montana Territory as Jacob Stone's mail-order bride and mother to his little girl. Hoping to meet a loving husband, she found instead a man shattered by loss and wary of affection.

I enjoyed the characters interaction in this book. Like most Harlequins I wanted the depth of the relationship to go further and to move along more quickly.
All in all I thought it was a nice easy read.
