I read this book years ago, I loved it. This week, I listened to it.
I listened to CD 1, and it did seem like a new story to me. By Disc 2, when a new character shows up. I start to remember some of the plot, and some of the twists. The audio unabridged has 11 Cds, and well worth your time. The story has multi layers of mysteries, and many intertwining characters. The narrator does an excellent job of reading the life into each character.
I recommend both the printed book and the audio book.
