This is book three of the Zahn trilogy that happens shortly after the Return of the Jedi. One of the better trilogies written about the original Star Wars cast.

not bad......continued the plot in an interesting way, although the dialogue seemed wooden.

Zahn's trilogy stays so true the feel of the original movies that I feel money would have been better spent on making these stories into films than what we got.
This story begins five years after the events of the "Star Wars" film "Return of the Jedi". Hopes are dim in the fragile New Republic as Grand Admiral Thrawn and his clone soldiers mount a final siege, threatening the Republic's ruin.

A terrific conclusion to one of the greatest Star Wars trilogy. I don't want to say to much so as to give away too much!
