Even though the story was good, I really felt like it dragged in places. I did get a kick out of the "Aussie" lingo used and had to call a friend who lives near Melbourne to "get" some of the references, which she had a laugh explaining. Overall, it was decent, and something a Disc World fan should read.

Another fun Discworld read. I always love hearing about the Luggage, the Librarian, and Death ... a few of my favorite characters. We came sooooo close to learning more about the Librarian ... so close.

I love Discworld. I am in the process of reading every single book. Despite a horrifying diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, Mr. Pratchett has only gotten better with age. I especially appreciate the combination of humor, characterization, and plot in Pratchett's recent trilogy (Hat Full of Sky, etc).

All that being said, I dragged myself through reading the Last Continent. It does not have the same compelling plot of the other books. This book is worth reading, but keep your expectations low.
