I wouldn't say I enjoyed reading this book, but it was incredibly well-written and powerful. Despite the unique writing style (e.g. miniumal punctuation), the dialog packs a wallop.

A powerful book. The characters are the poor and the perverted. The themes are sex and violence. Selby's ear for dialog is superb, and his style has the clean economy of a baterring ram. An important book.
