I absolutely could not stop reading this book. It is very captivating even though there were parts that I didn't care for (overly Christian tone and the good/bad "angels" on Solo's shoulder). It is set in her alien huntress world but other than a short cameo by Dallas, it doesn't really cross paths with Showalter's previous characters.

Vika has just the right amount of sweetness and strength. She isn't really a kick butt kind of girl but she is strong in so many other ways. Solo is such a sap at heart. Together, they are the couple to make you go "awwww."

Absolutely great start to a series with awesome emotional ups and downs. Can't wait to read about Corbin Blue and John No Name's stories.

My favorite quote from the book: "I just ripped...I mean, I just helped that creature shed twenty pounds in less than a second."

The storyline is decent enough, but the book is way too long. I think 50 to 100 pages could've been left out or removed and the storyline would've progressed better/faster. Just OK for me at best.

Never could put it down, I read a lot of books and this has got to be one of my top 5 favorite books. So much going one, its no wonder its over 400 pages and ends right at the end of the book. I am not going to spill any spoilers but you have got to get this book.
