Vasily has Naomi (Daniel's sister) with him in the aftermath of book #2 "Last Breath". He's trying to take over the Bratva and she's hacking and moving money. In disguise they have to infiltrate clubs and travel to find a stolen painting to bring back to the bratva. Complications arise as Naomi is either autistic or has Aspergers. She calls herself an "aspie" and the instances were written well. Vasily and she mesh as neither of them like to be touched and their relationship and quirks complement each other and grow. From assassins trying to kill them, Naomi's endless facts about everything, and Vasily's cold abused heart thawing
