I read this book while working on the set of The Missing. Like most books, it was much better than the movie, as much detail as Ron tried to get into the final edit of the film much was left out that the book covers in-depth.
This is a great western story of a father & his daughter of cowboys & indians and the underlying differences & similarities in religion between the two.
I highly recommend!

When Maggies oldest child is kidnapped by a band of renegade Apache, father and daughter set off on a desperate rescue mission.

The book is great. Read it because of the movie. Can't remember the name of the movie right now. Starred Tommy Lee Jones. The book is fantastic. Would be glad to recommend it to any adult reader. Be aware, the movie didn't follow the book completely.
