From Booklist:
Caterer Goldy Bear's wedding would have been perfect except for two minor problems--the priest is killed shortly before the wedding and her fiance, homicide detective Tom Schulz, is kidnapped from the scene of the crime. Frustrated with waiting for updates from the police, Goldy attempts to find out who ruined her wedding. Is the killer the organist, recently fired by the priest? Or the disgruntled theology student snubbed by the ordination board? Sandwiched between the suspense and Goldy's 10 gourmet recipes are layerings of criticism directed at organized religion. The scandals of Goldy's church snowball as she pursues the killer. Battles over church funds, building projects, and hymnal music lead to suspicious miracle healing and cleric egocentricity as well as corruptness. And although Tom Schulz's character is never more than one-dimensional, Goldy's realistic thoughts and reactions to events make her an interesting personality--and turn this book into a substantive mystery.

Book #4 in the series. Always a good read from this series. I love the cooking portions and since I have been to the area where she lives, I can imagine it. I enjoy the characters too.

Light mystery about a caterer who also does some detective work. Recipes are included, and provide a nice gimmick.

This is the first book I've read by this author and was pleasantly surprised to find a pretty good mystery and recipes as an added bonus!!
A culinary mystery to die for.

A culinary mystery, satisfying and tasty.
A Blissful Bride (Goldy), a missing groom (Tom), a rendezvous with murder but whose and can Goldy decipher a note in time to save Tom's life so they can live happily ever after?
Great recipes in this book.
This is book 4 of a GREAT series!
Another great Goldy mystery, amusing with yummy recipes.
Thisis the 4th book in the series.
Excellent!
the caterer finally gets married - a nice cozy mystery with some tasty sounding recipes
Not as good as the others in the series, but still a nice, quick read.
The best one of the series.
Another good book from Diane Mott Davidson. This was is heavy on the Episcopal Church as well as the food. I found myself wanting to race to the end.
Not my favorite in this series so far. The church rector is murdered and this book gets very preachy in parts discussing the religious side of things. About halfway through I thought "solve this already!" It just seemed to drag out. Hoping the next one is better. I enjoyed the first 3.
I enjoy her books but I have liked others that she has written more.
I love this series, great characters, and really great recipes.
This should be Colorado caterer Goldy's happiest day-her wedding day. But when her groom stumbles over a dying clergyman, everything must be put on ice, including the exquisite wedding cake. With recipes.
I really enjoy the Culinary Mysteries - this one included. They are not Oprah books, no doubt; but, they are entertaining, quick reads and I have really gotten to enjoy all the characters.
The Last Suppers is number 4 in the series featuring Miss Goldy, the caterer of Aspen Meadow, Colorado

This was a very good mystery. I honestly had no idea of who the killer was until it was revealed in the book & then I was slightly surprised.
An enjoyable read.
The mystery is good, and I've made about half of the recipes from this book and they are fantastic!
My copy of this book has no dust cover.
fourth book in the series, this is another good read. there are interesting characters, a twisting plot, good recipes, and lots of humor.
Featuring original recipes for such heavenly delights as Monster Cinnamon Rolls, savory Shrimp on Wheels, and sinful First Wasp Latkes! (From the back cover)
Diane Mott Davidson is one of my favorite women sleuths, plus she gives you some great recipes along the way.
4th in the series:
It should be the happiest day of Goldy the caterer's life. After years of putting the disaster of her first marriage behind her, she has finally found the courage to love again. Soon she'll be walking down the aisle of St. Luke's Episcopal Church to wed the man of her dreams, Tom Schulz, a homicide detective who shares Goldy's passions for preparing food and solving crimes.
But moments after Goldy's put the finishing touches on the scrumptious wedding feast, and just before the ceremony begins, she receives an urgent phone call from the groom. The wedding is off, and the reason is a killer.

Another great book by Donna! Now our favorite Colorado caterer has met the man of her dreams and it's the big wedding day! But wait! Just before she takes the big walk down the aisle, Goldie gets a call from her beloved, saying there's been a murder he must attend to: their minister. Before the murder is solved, our groom goes missing! Has Tom had cold feet?
I enjoy this series of books.
What is suppose to be her wedding, again turns to a murder/mystery, plus always great recipes!
A real page turner, I stayed up way too late finishing this book. I could not stop myself.
The book has great recepies and a good story.
ANother great book about the woman that owns a catering business and keeps getting involved in murders and helps solve them.
Cooking mystery,always a fun read
A blissful bride, a missing groom and a rendezvous with murder. . . perfectly describes this book. But here comes Goldy and she'll make sure the case is solved in the end and the bride and groom go happily on their way. Good book.
Always enjoy reading about Goldy and her culinary adventures!
This book started me on the Colorado caterer series. I read it out of order and it was exciting to the end.
loved it
A Culinary Mystery
It should be the happiest day of Goldy's life. The Colorado caterer is about to tie the knot with the man of her ddreams, homicide detective Tom Schulz. But minutes before the ceremony is to begin, Tom phones with an urgent message. The wedding is off and the reason is murder!
The series continues for good reason - it's a good read. Part cozy, but nail bitter.
