This book was poorly written. Kessler jumps from one random fact to another random quote without anything to tie the two together. His writing was on par for a sixth grade Social Studies report on the former first lady, hardly suitable for a biography of such an influential woman in American History.
...classy lady.

I love Laura Bush. She was the classiest First Lady this country has ever had. This "tell all" book says how she influenced the President, but in a quiet and gentle way. She never chose to be the First Lady of the United States, but when she was given the job, she did it with grace and humor. A great read if you love Laura!!
Yes, I loved this book! Plus when it arrived, it looked like a new book! Thank You!
