Each short story written could be a novel in itself. Our author has passed away, but his wonderfully written, stories hold us in thrall still and always. His preface comments to each section truly invite you to know the man whatever his 'nome de plume' may have been.

I can't give an 'exact' rating for this since I didn't read it, I don't particularly like short stories and these were written in the 1950's, I'm not giving a good or bad on this book but it was the beginning of his writing career and these were publised in magazines in the 50's.
