One of my favorite military SF authors. Full of action, great characters, tragedy and nobility, enjoyable and makes you want to read more.

I liked the story but to much amorous activity going on.. ruined it for me

This is a surprise to read.. A very good scifi book re the future of the Foreign Legion
as it is the only army that can protect our world from an alien army. Our army and navy and marine corps does not use Giant Cyborgs, but the Legion does...and they are big and mean..

Military SF with no surprises, but well-written and a fast read. Deitz doesn't knock your socks off with this book's conceits, but it's a solid choice for someone who's looking for more military SF for his or her bookshelf.
