Lennon Remembers is a complete transcript of the Rolling Stone interviews shortly after the Beatles breakup, when John was ready to tell all. He spouts off about everything: the Beatles reaction to Yoko, how the press treated her, Harrison's talent compared to his own, meeting fans with disabilities, his drug use, friendships with famous rock stars like Mick Jagger and Bob Dylan, his attitude towards the "big egos" of those who worked for the Beatles...no topic is off limits. The book is often shocking and unbelievable, but never boring. This one is going on my keeper shelf.
