She is the author of Co-dependent No More, and Beyond Codependency (both of which I own, and can't part with yet). This is a book about loss, and recovering from it. She wrote it after the death of her adolescent son, which plunged her into depression at the height of her success from her first book on codependency. It's a very personal book about living through loss, and how to learn to live again, told from her own experience.
