This book is so boring I had to force myself to finish it. If you're a fan of this author, which I am, read it but it kept putting me to sleep. I am very disappointed.

I found the book slow reading with not much of a mystery plot. The author's first book in the series, Fundraising the Dead was very enjoyable, but this second of the series fell flat. In this book there were references to the events in the first book of the series, but no specifics so that if you hadn't read the first one, you would certainly be lost as to what happened. The author should have included details and that would have supported why the new president of the museum was under so much pressure in this book. Her reason for investigating the death in this book seem weak.
I really enjoy this series and the museum setting is so much fun. This was a quick read and I'm looking forward to the next installment.
