Complex, literary, and carefully written. It wasn't my favorite Atwood book, but is worth a read.
This is an amazing book of short stories that will have you turning the pages until you finish all of the stories - Margaret Atwood at her best !
Anyone who enjoys Atwoods work doesn't want to miss this one
Loved it.
Relationships ending, relationships beginning, and everything in between. It was hard to really root for any of the characters though, as they were all quite flawed in their own ways. Well-written though.
I read this book many years ago. I liked it enough to buy all the rest of Margaret Atwood's works.
Very introspective... somewhat depressing but worth reading
Although I love Margaret Atwood, this is not one of my favorites. That said, I still liked it and would recommend it if you are an Atwood fan too. A very interesting character study of 3 people whose lives are falling apart. Starts out slow and not a lot of action but the characters came to life for me.
