After seeing the documentary by the Maysles and the HBO film Grey Gardens, I am totally captured by any information regarding the Beales. This book does not diappoint. It is at times heartbreaking and sad, but also gives the reader a minds eye view of everyday life at Grey Gardens. Loved it.
