I am so glad I picked up this book before I got too far into writing an autobiography. Tristine Rainer has taught writers for years and knows all the pitfalls, emotional, technical and practical, that it's possible to fall into. Now I know that my job is going to be ten times harder than I thought - but also ten times more rewarding when I move through it. Do read this book if you are serious about writing a worthy memoir!
