The final Novel in teh Beloved Mitford Series. Father Timothy Kavanagh has never been asked to do the impossible - until now. The retired Episcopal priest takes on the revival of a mountain church that's been closed for forty years. Meanwhile, in Mitford, he's sent on a hunt for hidden treasure, and two beloved friends are called to come up higher. As he meets each new challenge, Father Tim is reminded anew of the most important lesson of all: It's never too late.

Lovely! Wonderful! Inspiring! Makes you laugh, makes you cry! A perfect ending to the series but oh, how I wish it wasn't the end! The thought that there will be no more Mitford books makes me want to break down and bawl. Especially since she DID leave loose ends that Mitford fans will now have to wonder about forever...

An endearing look into a gentler time with good insights into people's behavior. Mitford is place some of us would like to be.

Father Timothy is back to do the impossible....revive a mountain church that has been closed for forty years. What a wonderful story that reminds all of us that it really isn't ever too late for anything. The best in the series and the last one.

Always charming and uplifting.
A great ending to the Mitford Series if there must be one. Fr Tim & Cynthia 'relax' housitting at the farm before they prepare for their time away touring Ireland. At least we have the Father Tim novels to look forward to next year!
Great conclusion to this great series. Outstanding!!
What a sweet ending to this long and pleasant Mitford journey. Don't believe the cover, however, when it says that many mysteries will be solved and questions will be answered. It's a wonderful read but I still want to know what happened to Peggy and to Tommy Noles. Shall we petition Jan Karon for a continuation??
I loved this book! Once again I fell right into life with Father Timothy and Cynthia. It felt like I had just seen them and it was great to spend some more time with them.
Always good, always enspiring and up lifting.
This is the large print version
I love all of her books! Great story tying up lots of loose strings.
Last in the Mitford series
Another of the Mitford year's novels about a retired Episcopal priest in NC and his family and friends. Very good read. Large print.
Wonderful ending to a wonderful series of books!
great book
Another wonderful look at our old friends in Mitford. Father Tim and Cynthia are "farm-sitting" at Meadowgate Farm for their dear friends who are off to France for a year. Father Tim is retired but his old bishop and closest friend, Stuart, asks him to resurrect a church up in the hills. He accepts the challenge and meets some of the most heart-warming people yet to grace Ms. Karon's books. Miracles abound in this volume and I don't want to give any of them away which would rob you of the joys. Apparently this is the last in the Mitford Years series and that makes me sad. I love all the people in Mitford, feel as if they are all old friends. Each new book was like a letter from home. There are moments of laughter and of tears that you don't want to miss.
Final Father Tim and the gang book. Very well-written. Nice read.
Wonderful. This was the last book in the Mitford series and I was surprised at how good it was.
Of course I loved it!
The last of the Mitford Years Novels and it is just as good as the others.
Wonderful book and sequel to the Mitford Series.
The last of the Mitford series and Father Tim. I feel like I am leaving a good friend behind. Karon's books are always the best; a place you want to live & can easily be lost in. Her stories are always a pleasant escape. This book was good to the last word, as was At Home in Mitford great from the first word. Enjoy!
I loved this series.
Maybe one of the best she has written in this series.
This last book in her series was as wonderful as all the rest. I hate to see the series end. This story just continued on with the rest of the Mitford Gang and I loved the ending. It just touched my heart. She is a wonderful author. All these books were great.
A nice conclusion to the Mitford series, neatly wrapping almost everything up.
A continual great series. Gods grace leads them and keeps them safe, gives them peace in times of strife, and miracles still happen
Jan Karon is, as always perfectly delightful!
I am a fan of Mitford books, and have read all in this series. I think this latest (and last, I believe) one is not nearly up to the standard of the earlier novels, but a pleasant read. I think it is time to end the series, but glad to read Light From Heaven.
Just what you'd expect from the Mitford series. Sad to see it end.
Can't believe this is the last book in the series.... This is the best...
In this final book of the Mitford series, Father Tim and Cynthia are charged with revitalizing a mountain parish that has been abandoned for years. Meet new characters and find out the answers to long-standing questions.
Last one in the series!
Let's continue the saga, shall we!
If you want a pleasant and wonderful escape, The Mitford Series is a must! The author has a way of transporting you to a world of beauty, love and serenity in a way that is like watching a wonderful movie!
