This book was so good! The book describes a world in which severe weather forces residents of Florida to abandon their homes as the state is increasingly consumed by water. It is not hard to imagine that this story is set in the not so distant future. What I didn't anticipate was how precious Wanda and the other characters in the story would become to me. This is a very emotional read.
