Here is something you don't see every day. A six foot, crime busting heart-of-gold, ponytailed ex-con pizza guy. What a hoot.

I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this book! The main character is an ex-con, a carpenter and pizza delivery guy. He and his friends attempt to find out who killed a man in their trailer park. His friends are his family, and they watch out for one another. There are a lot of characters but they are easily fit into the story. They drink, they smoke, they swear like sailors, and some even smoke weed.
They're cops, lawyers, carpenters, but they are rough around the edges and mainly just big teddy bears inside. They reminded me of a bunch of great guys that I used to know in my previous life. They care about one another, would do anything to help out a friend, and I really liked the honesty in which the main character is portrayed.

Terry & friends are back, this time trying to solve a murder involving Terry's soon to be ex-wife. As much as Terry dislikes Marylou, he knows she's no killer. The relationship and closeness between Terry and the guys is very refreshing. The characters are very likable and real.
