good book
Easy to read. One sentence per page. Fun story. Lesson to be learned.
Got it recently and my daughter loves it. It's the classic The Lion and the Mouse tale without the thorn. Always Help Others (from the last page) has become my daughters mantra. Lots of high frequency words with just enough new words to sound out - but not too many. I'd say that this is a mid range Step 1 reader.
