Lips Unsealed
Author: Belinda Carlisle
The women of the iconic eighties band the Go-Go’s will always be remembered as they appeared on the back of their debut record: sunny, smiling, each soaking in her own private bubble bath with chocolates and champagne. The photo is a perfect tribute to the fun, irreverent brand of pop music that the Go-Go’s created, but it also conce...  more »

It was pretty good. A LOT of talk about her doing cocaine--when where, with whom. Actually I got pretty tired of all the talk about cocaine. Yes, I guess it took up a big part of her life, but would have rather have read more about her experience with the Go-Go's which she does talk about but mainly focuses on the party scene before, during, and after their band. Gets redundant after awhile. If you are expecting an in-depth look at the Go-Go's, bypass this novel, but if you want to see how drugs affected Belinda's life, then go ahead and buy.

I have to agree with Keri-this book is mostly about Belinda's many years of cocaine use. I wished she had written more about her experiences with the Go-go's. By the end of the book, I learned that she did a lot of drugs, but not much else.

Wasn't what I thought it would be - I was expecting more talk about her music life - got kind of bored listening about her drug habit chapter after chapter - yes I think its' great she got herself on the right track - would like to know if all the names she dropped in the book agree with what she said about them...

Another biography about another coke addicted celebrity. It gets old after awhile. The book was initially interesting, but it slowly started to get more and more involved with her drug use that I couldn't take it anymore. Woe is me, I can't stop snorting coke. Get over it and stop following the crowd. If you are a die hard Go-Go's fan, you might enjoy this more than I did.

I enjoyed this book very much. Belinda doesn't hold much back and I was pretty impressed with the details she remembers and provides through a number of years, before, during and after the Go-Gos.
I definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in the music scene, etc. during the years she writes about, as well as a very personal story of a rock star.

did not care for this tell all. makes her come off as very self indulgent and spoiled. name drops everyone she has ever met, slept with, did or didn't do drugs with, or ever seen at a party, club or concert. not very interesting at all.
