one word BOOOOOORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As always, King weaves an unpredictable and enthralling tale. Unfortunately it is about 2 discs too long.
Let me start by saying I'm horrible at reviews, but sometimes based on other reviews I feel I must say my two cents. I really liked this story. I am a huge Stephen King fan and a huge horror fan, but I did not find this book particularly gory. Unlike so many other books (and movies as well), I found this book to be exactly as described on the back of the box. And although I'm no Mare Winningham fan, her narration was perfect for this story.

I've never been a Stephen King fan, but the writing in this novel is terrific! Mare Winningham does a spectacular job of reading, and it's impossible to tell where the story is going. However, after listening to the first 2/3 of the book, I stopped. It became much too gruesome for me. If you're a horror fan, and/or a Stephen King fan, you will undoubtedly love it. I just couldn't take the blood and gore.
