As always, Ms. Michaels does an outstanding job of entertaining readers with her gift of storytelling. "Listen To Your Heart" is no exception. A fast-paced love story with a supernatural twist, she takes readers on a journey revealing just how far the bonds of love can reach
CUTE BOOK. REALLY ENJOYED THIS ONE
I enjoyed this book. Loved the dogs in the story. I great short read.
A nice story by Fern Michaels. It's about a pair of twins (all grown up now) that run their own catering business in New Orleans. One does all the cooking and the other runs the business (Josie). Josie meets a tall, dark cajun guy with an overactive dog named ZIP. And his dog develops a crush on Josie's dog, ROSIE. Around the same time, Josie and the cajun begin to fall in love. It's also a story about a mother's love and very heartwarming.
It's a good read.

This is my first Fern Michaels book.
This was a pleasant story about a "work alcholic" twin and the love she finally meets. The story tells a lot of details about life in the "richer" part of the south and paints a real good picture in your mind so it is easy to see the setting. The story centers around a maltese and a boxer (dog) and their owners. It is love at first sight for the dogs and this leads to some rather humorous situations.
I did think that the book was VERY predictable as to what would happen next which I found to be a bit dissapointing. Which is why I only gave it 3 stars.
I did find all of the references to the "dead mother" giving signs a bit far fetched and I thought it actually took away from the story.
This refers to the unabridged audio version.

Really sweet story about twin daughters from a close knit family. The twins inherit the family catering business after the parents are killed in an accident. One of the twins has need for mom's guidance and obtains reassurance of her approval thru wifs of her favorite perfume. She obtains a sweetheart as well as closure of her mom's death. I enjoyed this book enough to read it a second time.
A young New Orleans girl might be falling in love with Mr Right but..........
kind of corny, but still good.
Great quick read, can always read Fern Michaels books and have.
This one took place in New Orleans and the descriptions of things that might now not be there was wonderful.

Fabulous and funny. I loved these characters, as well as the dogs! Wonderfully well written. Emotional and witty. A+
With her beloved mother gone, her twin sister about to be married, and no hint of Mr. Right on the horizon, Josie Dupre is lonesome. Luckily, she has her booming New Orleans catering business to keep her busy, and her fluffy white dog, Rosie, to keep her company...until an obnoxious Boxer brazenly captures Rosie's undying devotion. Even worse, the budding romance puts Josie in close proximity to the dog's owner-sexy, love'em and leave 'em Cajun playboy, Paul Brouilette.
Paul's all for l'amour, but ever since he came into Josie's life, strange things have been happening. She hears music that isn't there, and she smells her mother's favorite colgne in an empty room. Maybe her mom's trying to send her a message...something about finding love where you least expect it...and listening to your heart.
A fun read...will keep readers on tenterhooks.
